This week, it was announced that Target Corporation donated $150K to MN Forward, a political group that supports Tom Emmer for governor. Mr. Emmer has some interesting ideas about how to run our state, including lowering the minimum wage for waiters and waitresses. He is also is opposed to gay marriage. 

It will come as  no surprise to those who know me that Mr. Emmer is not the kind of candidate I would support. So after writing a carefully worded email to Target (who never responded), I’ve decided to stop shopping at Target, at least until the governor’s race is over.  This might sound simple enough, unless you know how often I used to drop in.
